I'm Emelie Zetterberg, a visual artist and creator based in Sweden. My work spans art, ceramics, illustration, graphic design, and animation. I thrive on exploring various mediums and expressions, finding that movement between disciplines fuels my creativity and keeps my work dynamic.
Currently, my primary focus is on my personal artistic projects, where I delve into imagery, objects, and ideas that evolve freely. However, I still take on freelance assignments! My portfolio includes collaborations with artists and private clients, featuring projects like live visuals for musical acts, magazine covers, album artwork, and editorial illustrations.
In my practice, I blend digital and analog techniques, resulting in illustrations, ceramic forms, motion graphics, paintings, and art prints. I often work intuitively but also enjoy delving into form, rhythm, and atmosphere—whether it's an animated loop or a ceramic piece.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from HDK-Valand – Academy of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg. Throughout my career, I've received several awards and grants, including the 2020 European Magazine Award in the 'Cover One Shot' category, and have participated in various artist residencies and exhibitions.
